Your staff are in the test room. Your website can still answer the phone.
WebCallHub adds a call button to your practice site so someone booking an eye exam reaches whoever is free — straight from the browser.
An eye exam takes twenty minutes, and the phone does not wait.
Every test you run is twenty minutes your front desk is short-handed, and that is the window the phone chooses. Someone wants an exam date. Someone is asking whether you stock a brand of lens. Someone has a scratched eye and is trying to find out if you can see them today. They get a ring tone, hang up, and book with the chain on the high street instead. None of it shows up anywhere — a missed call leaves no trace, so the busiest hour of your week looks exactly like the quietest.
The person browsing your exam page can reach you from it.
They click the button on your site and the call opens in their browser to whoever on your team is online — the dispenser at the counter, the manager in the back. Encrypted WebRTC audio, no dialling, no app. When nobody is free the call forwards to your number rather than ringing out, and every call, answered or not, lands in your call history.
What you get
Bookings taken from the booking page
The click happens where the intent is — the exam page, the lens page, the hours page — instead of after a number is copied out and dialled.
Forwarding instead of a ring tone
When the desk is covered but nobody can pick up, the call goes to your forwarding number. Included minutes scale with the plan: 30 on Starter, 60 on Growth, 200 on Business.
Analytics that show the test-room hour
Advanced analytics from Growth up, with 60 days of call history. The pattern you cannot see today — calls clustering while the room is occupied — becomes a number.
Call links for recall letters
Up to 50 call links and QR codes on Growth. Put one in the two-year recall so the patient calls back with a tap instead of filing the letter.
A phone menu when you outgrow one line
Business adds an inbound number, a menu of up to ten departments, voicemail, a call queue and business hours — exams, dispensing, everything else.
Encrypted audio, recording on request
DTLS-SRTP end to end. Call recording is a Business feature you turn on deliberately; nothing is recorded by default.
How it works
- Add one line to your site — Works with whatever platform your practice site runs on. No handset, no phone system, nothing installed in the shop.
- The counter opens the dashboard — Log in from a browser tab. Up to four people online at once on Growth, ten on Business, so the call reaches whoever is not with a patient.
- Patients click, you pick up — The conversation starts while they are still on your page — and the ones nobody reached are in your history, where you can act on them.
